Please note that Mako-chan's guided tours are not sponsored tours under the Travel Agency Act. The guided tour runs from the trailhead to the descent point, and does not include travel or accommodation before and after the tour. The tour will meet and disband at a designated location, and if you wish, you can ride in the guide's car. In that case, traffic accidents during the tour will only be covered by the insurance you have signed up for.
Participants should purchase mountain insurance, hiking insurance, liability insurance, etc. in advance. Insurance for accidents and injuries is not included in the guide fee.
Mountain areas include risks that can occur in natural fields, such as bad weather, falling rocks, collapses, and avalanches, and it is difficult to eliminate and avoid all dangerous elements in that environment. We will accept your participation as a declaration of participation and your intention, with the full understanding that participation involves risks and the consent of yourself and your family.
The course may be changed, canceled, or postponed due to weather or other force majeure.
Please follow the guide's judgment and instructions on site.
The guide fee is essentially the compensation we receive from the customer for guiding in the mountains. Any other expenses besides the guide fee will be charged separately or paid by the individual.
Examples: Use of the lift gondola, hot springs after descending the mountain, accommodation, ground transportation to the trailhead, etc.
About cancellation fees
●We will make a decision as early as possible the day before, but if the tour is canceled due to bad weather or for reasons on the organizer's side, we will refund the full participation fee.
In addition, if the tour is canceled after it has started, there will be no refund.
About cancellation fees due to customer's convenience
● 50% of the participation fee is required 7 to 3 days before the tour date, and the full participation fee is required 2 days before to the day of the tour.
We arrange support guides for the day of the tour one week before, so we always charge a cancellation fee.Cancellations after 6:00 p.m. will be treated as the next day.
Regarding guide expenses, please note that the guide will be responsible for transportation costs (gas 25 yen per km), accommodation if overnight stay is required, ski lift fees, gym fees, hot springs after descending the mountain (if sharing a car), and other expenses incurred while traveling together.
Regarding other participant expenses, participants will be responsible for their own accommodation, ski lift fees, gym fees, etc.
